Explore with us through the eastern side of Joshua Tree.
Bring your families as we explore the trails and some mines on BLM land just east of Joshua Tree.
We will be starting just past Twentynine Palms on Old Dale Road. Heading south on the trail will take us past Supply, Sunset, and Mission gold mines as well as many others.
Vehicle Requirements:
High Clearance Vehicle needed. 4 Wheel Drive is helpful.
What to bring:
1. Normal camping stuff: Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, food, etc
2. Water - It is dry out there and you will need water. Bring at lease 1 gallon of water per person per day.
3. Bring shovels, picks, and a hammer. If you want to dig for geodes you will need to bring tools to dig out the Geodes!!!
4. Other necessities: Fist aid kit, hat, sunscreen, and chair.
Be aware:
- There is very little cell phone service
- Be aware of snakes and other desert creatures.
- Bring Water!
